The great thing about this is its up for interpretation. Everyone sees things differently and comes to their own conclusions. You may not have agreed with everything written but hopefully you learned a few things and it at least made you think. To summarize, Superman in these movies displays pure Christ like imagery in so many ways. Snyder is seen to have clearly drawn from Jesus as a way to help portray an alien whose powers and existence can't be explained on earth, the same way Jesus couldn't be explained. The people feared him because they believed he was a threat the same way many did Jesus and to use biblical stories and characters was very fitting for the character and the story that was told. The movies may have mixed reviews but from a religious standpoint it is clear that Snyder has put a lot of depth and religious elements in his films that still stay true to the character and his comic book roots.
